Your first buy

Paid with the fee, spent straight back into your own curve. The coins land in your wallet.
A curve nobody has bought has no liquidity, and an app asking for a quote on it is told there is no route — so nobody can buy your coin, including in FOMO. 1 SOL is the floor that fixes that.
Choose the address Optional. Paste a ground keypair and the coin takes its address.
Grind one with solana-keygen grind --ends-with pad:1, then paste the file it writes. The key signs the mint into existence and nothing else — its authorities are gone the moment the coin exists, and we never store it. Leave this empty for a random address.
